Masauti Musical Journey

Mohammed Ali Said, aka Masauti, is a Kenyan artist born in Mombasa, Kenya.

Masauti is a charismatic artist who represents today’s generation in bongo music. Artist Masauti’s academic journey was interrupted due to lack of funds to enable him to continue his studies.

At a young age, Masauti loved listening to various artists as well as composing songs to sing. He would often visit various studios accompanied by his fellow artists to explore the studio environment.

That’s when Masauti was seized by the passion and enthusiasm to start singing, and he called himself Mswazi Masauti, a young man with great talent and creativity.

It will be clearly remembered that Masauti started singing at the age of thirteen. At that age, he was a lively and very eloquent young man in front of the public.

Finally, Masauti was able to move from Mombasa and then to Nairobi. While in Nairobi, he continued the gospel of art and became very popular with various people and then signed up with artist Teddy Josiah, where he came to be recognised by Jalango in 2019.

Jalango accepted Masauti and gave him a place on the radio one day while collaborating with artists like Khaligraph Jones, artists who prepared a mat for him and gave him the best upbringing as a budding artist.

Masauti, after wearing the official music uniforms and becoming an artist with broad goals after dropping strong dances and setting himself at high levels, began to become the favourite of many, including the girls who were in love with artist Masauti.

There were days when rumours said that he was the favourite of artist Nadia Mukami due to the arrival of a powerful nephew who had adopted his artistic style and became very self-aware.
