Tanzanian musician Dully Sykes now claims that he was the one who discovered the talent of famous bongo flava artist Alikiba who is also a Tanzanian.

Dully was speaking this in an interview with a journalist while praising Alikiba as a great artist who has gained international recognition.
Artist Dully revealed that he once covered all the costs of Alikiba’s music as well as helping him with the cost of producing a video and his return airfare.

“I got a great collaboration from Alikiba. Alikiba is a great artist, he is an international artist, he gave me a collaboration and handled the video. He handled the promotion,” said Dully.
“I am not his brother-in-law, maybe I gave him to my sister or I married his sister, it is because I have lived well with him and I have discovered his talent. I carried him and put him in the car and took him to the studio and gave him money for the return fare. I was with him close, I gave him ideas.,” continued the Tanzanian musician.
While speaking, he also made it clear that in life everyone needs another to move forward in life. He added, explaining that a human being needs to have a good relationship with people to survive especially when he is faced with adversity.
“In life, we must create generations and we must have human capital, we must create these foundations for them. Create people, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow they will come to help you. I have been helped by people not because I can sing a lot or I don’t have ideas but I can cope because I get help very quickly,” he emphasized.
Dully also revealed that he also receives support from his dedication to helping people, referring to Mario’s biological father who once helped him after helping his son.
“This Mario here I have worked with, he helped his father, for what? His son I have lived with well, he has been in my hands. So we must lay the foundations before he can get away,” Dully revealed.
Dully Sykes whose real name is Abdul Sykes was born on December 4, 1980. He is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava musician, songwriter and record producer.
Dully Sykes has a great reputation for raising big-name artists in the music industry including Marioo, Shetta and the late Pancho Latino. In 2022, he collaborated with Tanzanian singer, Kusah on his hit song ‘Do Do.’
