Popular Tanzanian bongo artist Diamond Platnumz has urged his fellow Muslims to pray a lot and fast during this holy month of Ramadan.

Speaking via video on the Wasafi page, Diamond urged people to be united and show faith in others during this holy month.
“God is good at this time; I will be entering the mosque for a short while to pray and break my fast. Don’t just fast but pray. Make sure you fast and pray; it will please God,” said Diamond, pointing towards the mosque.
The artist, who posted two different videos, one before entering the mosque and the other when leaving the mosque, urged people to choose to do good in the second video.
He stressed that this time is very important for all Muslims, and they should thank God. He explained that even those who have been blessed, it is a time to return gratitude.
“From eight o’clock until now, it’s nine o’clock; we have been in the mosque. Make sure you do things that please God during this time. We, as young people who are blessed and have been blessed, but at times like this, we must thank God. Everyone should make good use of this month, as he encouraged us; other months are difficult for you; we must accept it. But God is giving us guidance and changing us systematically; may God be pleased with us. My name is Naseeb Abdul,” the Tanzanian artist concluded the message.
Diamond Platnumz’s real name is Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack; he is also known by many artistic names, such as Chibu, Simba, Nasibu Kichwa, Simba la Simbana, or Dangote. He is currently 35 years old.
