Kenyan musician Bien-Aime Baraza, musically known as Bien, has spoken about his first trip to Zanzibar after winning the East African Musician of the Year award in Tanzania.

Bien also used the opportunity to explain his musical journey while promising to move forward in the music industry.

He began by explaining that he was very excited about his trip to Zanzibar in your Trace Awards competition involving artists of all kinds from Africa and outside Africa.

“My time in Zanzibar was great; I got to see so many musicians. who have been singing for years. I also met good friends. I met foreign musicians… I met the new generation, the old generation,” said Bien.

At the same time, Bien also expressed his gratitude to the management of the Trace Awards for the good work of unifying African music and continuing to promote it.

Thank you so much, Trace, for giving us all a chance and celebrating our music with this generation,” explained the winner of the East African Musician of the Year award.

The artist promised to continue to work hard in the music industry, saying that this is where his journey to shine in music begins.

However, he urged his followers to support him to move to the next stage, especially the people of his country, Kenya.

“The journey has just begun. This is my biggest victory as a foreign musician. If you support me, Mamzee, we can go far. So let’s continue to do this work together because I need you. At first, we didn’t know that we were doing something good. But it’s good,” revealed the artist.

Bien expressed his gratitude to the people who support him. He also encouraged young artists to continue to work hard on their careers.

“To everyone who is not here but helped me get here, thank you. To those who helped and showed up in my music, thank you. To all who helped write my music. Thank you. Faith and love come from me,” Bien concluded.
